Getting ready for SPA weekend

My does time fly! I have been busy knitting and designing up a storm.
Found a wonderful knitting book "Knitting Off the Axis" by Mathew Gnagy. I loved all his designs and his concepts. I saw the Lynette pattern and picked up my needles and found some wonderful yarn and off I went. Naturally I tweeked it a bit, like changing the collar and button band. I also did my own buttons by purchasing ones that you cover with material, I purchased the material from a vendor from an event put on by Black sheep spinners in NY. The material is upholstery fabric, a wonderful pattern and loved the color, just right for the sweater. I also designed a hat to go with sweater that I embellished with a tatted motif and button. I needed to take a picture of the finished project so my husband, Alex and I went to Bird Park, and while we were getting out of our car, we saw some wonderful young ladies and I asked one of the girls if she would mind modeling my sweater and hat for me, I was so happy when she agreed, much better on her then me taking photos of it propped in a tree or strung up on a bench. Thank you so much Kayle you were a wonderful model! I love the picture with her friends in the background.
